Position Overview
The R&D Lab Technician will support daily laboratory operations and assist scientists with the preparation, fabrication, and assembly of electrochemical components and test cells. This role requires a hands-on individual who enjoys working in a laboratory environment and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare slurries and support electrode manufacturing processes.
• Assemble electrochemical cells and test systems.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and process documentation.
• Monitor and follow laboratory safety and quality procedures.
• Organize laboratory workspaces and maintain inventory.
• Receive supplies and manage consumables and materials stock.
• Support ongoing R&D activities and experimental programs.
Requirements
• Practical experience working in a chemistry laboratory.
• Experience handling chemicals and following laboratory safety procedures.
• Experience with batteries, electrochemical systems, coatings, or material processing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to learn independently and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English. Conversational English is an advantage.
