We are looking for a Material Planner to take ownership of end-to-end material planning in a dynamic, defense-industry environment. This is an opportunity to play a central role in ensuring seamless supply chain operations, from customer order receipt through to material availability, while collaborating across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Own full responsibility for material planning from customer order receipt through to inventory availability

Implement make/buy decisions based on capabilities, capacity, and cost considerations

Analyze Long Lead Items (LLI) and drive mitigation actions to reduce lead times, both internally and externally

Plan and analyze material procurement needs, run MRP and issue purchasing requirements

Continuously track material convergence from purchase requisition through to warehouse receipt

Collaborate with multiple interfaces including operations, engineering, parallel planning teams, quality, warehousing, and procurement

Monitor operational, logistical, and project KPIs including OTD and inventory turns, and maintain system parameters to ensure delivery commitments

Requirements

B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management / Economics / Logistics, or a practical engineering degree in Industrial Engineering and Management

At least 2 years of experience in a supply chain role within the defense industry

High proficiency in MS Office applications

Knowledge of ERP, BI tools, and data analysis

English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing)

Ability to lead and manage multiple tasks and interfaces simultaneously

Excellent interpersonal skills, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and a drive for excellence

Previous experience in a multi-interface environment including routine management and risk management - Advantage
