    Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to help expand and strengthen the University's philanthropic network across Israel and Israeli communities worldwide.

    This role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with donors, foundations, business leaders, and community partners while advancing the mission and impact of one of Israel's leading research universities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement fundraising and donor engagement strategies.

    • Identify, cultivate, and engage new philanthropic prospects across the private and business sectors.

    • Strengthen relationships with existing donors and strategic partners.

    • Present the University's vision, achievements, and impact to diverse audiences.

    • Initiate and manage donor visits, delegations, and special fundraising events.

    • Develop philanthropic proposals and partnership opportunities.

    • Monitor funded projects and prepare donor reports.

    • Build long-term relationships with stakeholders in Israel and abroad.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in fundraising, resource development, or philanthropic partnerships in Israel.

    • Strong familiarity with the Israeli philanthropic landscape.

    • Native-level Hebrew and excellent English communication skills.

    • Outstanding relationship-building, presentation, and networking abilities.

    • Experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

    • Academic degree required.

    • If you hold an academic degree from an institution outside of Israel, you must provide an official certificate issued by the Department for the Evaluation of Foreign Academic Degrees at the Israeli Ministry of Education.
