Role & Responsibilities:
• Full ownership and responsibility for the production domain, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring meeting targets.
• Directly managing the production team, alongside matrix management of external contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Leading site-wide processes for efficiency, waste reduction, and optimization, including building multi-year work plans.
• Working closely with relevant authorities and ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintaining ongoing, close interfaces with Maintenance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics Managers.
• Mid-level management (3rd tier in the dairy's hierarchy).
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree – Mandatory (Engineering degree – a significant advantage).
• At least 3 years of experience in a heavy process manufacturing industry – Mandatory (Food industry experience – a major advantage).
• Proven experience in directly and indirectly managing teams of up to 20 employees.
• Strong experience with Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean tools).
• Experience working with industrial control, monitoring, or resource management systems (e.g., PI, manufacturing systems) – an advantage.
