Full job description
Original listing · kept for referenceHypernative is the leader in real-time threat prevention for Web3. We empower protocols, bridges, and DeFi platforms to detect and prevent exploits before they happen. Our platform is trusted by leading crypto-native organizations to protect billions of dollars in on-chain value.
Backed by world-class investors and experiencing rapid growth, we’re building a customer-centric organization that helps our customers stay safe, agile, and ahead of threats. Now we’re hiring a Customer Success Manager to join us on this mission.
We're looking for a Technical Trainer to build and run Hypernative's technical training function from the ground up. This is an end-to-end role: you'll design the training curriculum, build the materials (docs, decks, hands-on labs, videos), and personally deliver the sessions to customers and partners.
You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering to translate a fast-moving security platform into training that actually sticks, whether that's onboarding a new enterprise customer's security team or certifying a partner's analysts.
The audience varies widely. Some sessions are deep, hands-on, and technical with security analysts and engineers in the weeds of the platform. Others are high-level briefings for managers and executives who need to understand what the platform does and why it matters, without the technical depth. You'll need to read the room and adjust on the fly.
What You'll Do
• Design the overall training program structure: learning paths, certification tiers, onboarding tracks for different audiences (customers, partners, internal teams)
• Build training materials from scratch, including written guides, slide decks, hands-on labs/sandboxes, and recorded video content
• Deliver live training sessions, both virtual and in-person, to technical and semi-technical audiences
• Tailor the same material for different audiences, from deep hands-on sessions with analysts and engineers to high-level briefings for managers and executives
• Translate complex platform concepts into clear, practical training content
• Partner with Product and Engineering to stay current on new features and make sure training keeps pace with the platform
• Work with Customer Success and Sales Engineering to identify where customers get stuck and turn that into targeted training content
• Build feedback loops and assessments to measure whether training is actually landing, and iterate on that basis
• Maintain a central training library so materials stay organized, versioned, and easy to find
• Own the training calendar and scheduling for recurring sessions, cohorts, or certifications
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in technical training, curriculum design, or a similar enablement role at a B2B cybersecurity company
• Proven ability to build a training program from zero, not just deliver an existing one
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills; comfortable running live sessions for external customers
• Range to match the audience: able to get into technical detail with hands-on practitioners, and equally able to step back and deliver a clear, high-level briefing to managers and executives
• Ability to learn complex technical products quickly and explain them simply, without dumbing them down
• Experience building varied training formats: written docs, slides, hands-on exercises, video
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
