The Ramah Israel Institute is the educational travel arm of Ramah Israel, creating transformative, experiential learning programs in Israel for groups from around the world.
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Jerusalem-based team. This full-time, in-office role involves designing, coordinating, and leading meaningful educational travel experiences for schools, synagogues, and community organizations visiting Israel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement customized educational travel programs in Israel
• Prepare budgets and price proposals
• Plan and build the logistical infrastructure for program delivery
• Coordinate with the logistics department and external partners
• Communicate with international clients (schools, synagogues, etc.), occasionally outside of regular working hours
• Collaborate with trip leaders and educators both in Israel and abroad
• Maintain ongoing communication with staff accompanying each group during their stay in Israel
• Be available 24/7 while your programs are on the ground to respond promptly to emergencies or unforeseen situations
• Based in Jerusalem, with travel across the country as required

Qualifications:
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Experience in educational programming with diverse populations
• Open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity
• Strong knowledge of Israel – an advantage
• High-level English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Basic Hebrew proficiency (spoken and written)
• Strong computer skills (office software and social media)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment
• High sense of responsibility, service orientation, and attention to detail
