• Designed for someone equally comfortable diving deep into GCP configurations and guiding developers on secure-by-design principles.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and enhance security mechanisms within GCP and AWS cloud environments.

• Build and maintain robust, scalable cloud security architectures aligned with organizational risk appetite.

• Define and enforce policies for identity, permissions, and access management (IAM).

• Deploy and integrate infrastructure-level cybersecurity solutions and defense technologies.

• Evaluate, onboard, and operationalize new security tools and technologies.

• Proactively identify, assess, and remediate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities across cloud systems.

• Design and operate security monitoring, alerting, and supervision frameworks.

• Support incident response efforts from both a technical and procedural standpoint.

• Plan and design secure network architectures tailored to organizational requirements and evolving threat landscapes.

• Write hardening and protection documentation for network components and cloud services.

• Integrate defense-in-depth methodologies across computing and network infrastructures.

• Serve as a security mentor and advisor to development and infrastructure teams.

• Champion Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) principles and guide teams in their practical implementation.

• Coordinate cross-functional security initiatives and drive alignment between security, engineering, and operations.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in cloud cybersecurity engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience leading or managing technical teams.

• Demonstrated experience designing and securing complex cloud environments (GCP preferred).

• Proven track record in threat identification, vulnerability management, and incident response in cloud-native settings.

• Experience specifying and testing Web Services, APIs, and data pipeline security.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.

Strong Advantages

• Prior experience working within or alongside a formal security organization (CISO office, SOC, etc.).

• Deep, hands-on expertise with core GCP security services.

• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and models and their security implications.

• Hands-on experience with F5 (load balancing, WAF) and Check Point (firewall, threat prevention).
