A leading international technology company, with over 20 years of success delivering large-scale ICT projects across West Africa, is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology organization.
This is a unique opportunity to relocate and take on a high-impact executive leadership role, driving complex national and enterprise technology projects that make a real difference.
The Role
As CTO, you will be responsible for leading the company's technology strategy and execution, overseeing the successful delivery of large-scale ICT projects from concept through implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the planning, design, and execution of complex ICT infrastructure and digital transformation projects.
• Conducting feasibility studies and providing technical leadership for strategic initiatives.
• Managing the development and integration of advanced technology solutions.
• Overseeing system integration, outsourcing partners, and technical support operations.
• Delivering end-to-end (turnkey) ICT solutions for government and enterprise clients.
• Leading multidisciplinary technical teams while managing budgets, timelines, and project execution.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
• 5–10 years of experience in a senior technology leadership or program management role within an international organization.
• Strong technical background across enterprise IT, including cloud computing, data centers, ERP systems, cybersecurity, networking, and large-scale infrastructure.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex projects, cross-functional teams, budgets, and operational delivery.
• International experience is essential. Experience working in Africa, Asia, or South America is a significant advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate with family to an English-speaking country in West Africa.
