What You'll Be Doing
• Partnering with product engineers to understand the complex connectivity requirements of tomorrow’s data centers
• Design and supervise deployment of fiber and copper cabling systems supporting multi-network clusters
• Influence data center layouts and planning to provide for maximum flexibility in development focused lab buildings
• Understand and support networks controlling, monitoring, and alerting within our enterprise data center environments, supporting the mechanical, electrical, liquid cooling, and security components.
• Implement new fiber solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current infrastructure.
• Define and document repeatable standards for data center and lab spaces at various scales.
• Conducting regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
