Our core engines, including advanced Semantic Search (RAG), Text-to-SQL data querying, and Autonomous AI Agents, are already developed and demonstrating strong capabilities.

We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect / Fractional CTO to lead our overarching cloud infrastructure and security strategy.

The Role

Your mission is to architect the robust, horizontal SaaS infrastructure that houses these technologies. You will act as the technical backbone of the platform, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of enterprise IT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Architecture: Architect and implement a highly scalable, multi-tenant cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with absolute data isolation.

• Complex Deployments: Design and execute flexible deployment architectures, ranging from fully managed SaaS to isolated VPC and On-Premises environments.

• Security & Compliance: Lead the platform’s security posture, including securing AI solutions, proxy layers, SSO, Active Directory integration, encryption protocols, and laying the groundwork for SOC2 and HIPAA compliance.

• DevOps Leadership: Establish CI/CD pipelines, release management protocols, and development best practices for our engineering team.

• Executive Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical authority in architecture, security, and compliance discussions with enterprise CIOs and CISOs.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a Lead Architect, VP R&D, or Fractional CTO role, specifically building B2B Enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Deep, hands-on expertise in AWS or Azure. Proven experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• AI/LLM Infrastructure Integration: Practical experience embedding Generative AI and LLMs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenAI) into production environments. Deep understanding of AI-specific architectural challenges, such as LLM API gateways, rate limiting, LLM security (e.g., preventing prompt injection), and managing token consumption.

• Enterprise Security & IAM: Extensive experience implementing enterprise identity management (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC), complex Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and securing API gateways.

• VPC & On-Premise Deployments: Hands-on experience packaging software for secure, isolated customer environments (e.g., Helm charts, private registries) and understanding network security configurations.

• Database Architecture: Experience architecting scalable, multi-tenant database environments. Familiarity with managing relational databases alongside Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate) is a major advantage.

• Backend & API Ecosystems: Strong background in designing highly distributed systems, microservices, and rate-limiting mechanisms. Familiarity with modern backend languages (Python, Node.js, or Go).

• Compliance Readiness: Practical experience preparing technical architectures for rigorous audits (SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA).

• Customer-Facing Excellence: Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of successfully defending technical architectures and completing security questionnaires with enterprise IT directors and CISOs.

• Mindset: An entrepreneurial driver who can balance rapid startup execution with long-term technological stability.

Engagement Model:

• We are currently offering a Fractional CTO engagement (flexible retainer / part-time) to establish the architectural foundation and support our initial enterprise deployments.
