About the Role AIR is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of the aircraft's electrical power and electronic systems. This role combines hands-on engineering with system-level leadership and close collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design of high-voltage (up to 800V) and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Design and develop aircraft wiring harnesses and electrical architectures.
• Lead system manufacturing, integration, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with avionics, propulsion, software, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Work closely with global suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop creative engineering solutions for complex technical challenges. RequirementsMust Have • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering.
• Proven experience leading complex electrical system development.
• Strong knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with electric powertrains, motor controllers, and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience with system integration, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience using AI tools and LLMs to improve engineering workflows.
• Programming or scripting experience (Python is an advantage).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Advantages • Experience in Aerospace, eVTOL, UAV, or Electric Vehicle industries.
• Familiarity with aerospace certification standards (DO-160) or military standards.
