For our Haifa site, we are seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the development and integration of advanced unmanned maritime systems

Job Description

Lead the development, integration, and validation of complex System-of-Systems solutions involving extensive software components and dedicated hardware, from concept definition and detailed design through integration, testing, and customer delivery

Define system requirements for various subsystems and components, and prepare system specification and design documentation

Provide technical guidance and support to multidisciplinary engineering teams, including software, communications, networking, electronics, and other engineering disciplines

Lead complex integration activities involving the incorporation of products, payloads, and subsystems, while coordinating and directing subcontractors

The role requires strong system-level thinking, independent work capabilities, engineering initiative, and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex challenges

Requirements

B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience in software-intensive, multidisciplinary system development and/or systems engineering, including complex integration activities

Background in Command & Control (C2) system development, either from a software or systems engineering perspective – an advantage

Experience in maritime systems development – an advantage

Familiarity with distributed systems development and technologies such as Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes – an advantage

Experience working with Linux-based environments – an advantage

Relevant naval military background – an advantage

Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical domains

Broad system-level perspective and engineering vision

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and lead peers and stakeholders toward common goals

Willingness to travel extensively abroad
