After years of bootstrapped profitability, Remedio raised $65 million to scale our team and impact. As Backend Team Lead, you'll own the delivery, growth, and culture of the backend engineering team.
You'll stay technical and hands-on, while your primary lever shifts from personal output to team output. The systems you're responsible for collect, process, and remediate vulnerability data from millions of endpoints across the world's largest enterprises. Reliability and scale aren't features - they're the baseline.
The Role
• 6+ years of backend engineering experience, with preference for Go
• At least 1-2 years of hands-on people management or formal team lead experience
• Experience owning team delivery end-to-end: planning, execution, and stakeholder communication
• Solid foundation in cloud-native systems, containers and databases
• Clear communicator: able to translate technical tradeoffs for product and non-technical leadership
• High ownership mindset; comfortable operating with autonomy
Nice to Have
• Background in cybersecurity, endpoint management, or enterprise SaaS
• Experience with high-volume, agent-connected systems at scale

Responsibilities
Team Leadership
• Manage and grow a team of backend engineers
• Own team delivery: planning sprints, managing scope, communicating status to stakeholders, and keeping commitments
• Build a healthy team culture based on direct feedback, high standards, and continuous improvement
• Play an active role in hiring: own the technical interview process and be accountable for who joins the team
Technical Ownership
• Stay hands-on on meaningful work: architecture decisions, critical features, and code reviews
• Lead technical planning for major features in partnership with Product and other team leaders in the organization
• Define and uphold engineering standards: testing strategy, code review quality, CI/CD practices, and incident response
• Build for scale, making sure all aspects of our system are ready for organizations with hundreds of thousands of devices
We work in a hybrid model.
Our office is located in a prime central location near the HaShalom train station
