Position Overview:

Fluent Trade Technologies is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Global IT Director to manage and actively drive the technology infrastructure for our global operations. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role that will manage and guide a cross-functional IT team while maintaining and optimizing critical IT systems across all global offices. The position requires deep technical expertise and the ability to manage complex IT projects, infrastructure, and provide technical leadership across a geographically dispersed team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a global IT team, ensuring effective support, maintenance, and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure across all global offices, including Israel, Ukraine, the Philippines, New York, London, and Tokyo.

• Manage the procurement of Data Center equipment, such as servers and network equipment.

• Develop the IT budget in conjunction with the finance department, and ensure adherence to the approved budget.

• Provide hands-on management of critical IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including the implementation and management of Linux environments, networks (LAN/WAN), and communication systems (VoIP).

• Take a proactive approach in maintaining and upgrading existing infrastructure, ensuring it remains aligned with the company’s technology needs.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and implement new technology solutions, contributing to company-wide technology strategy.

• Provide leadership in IT security, including managing firewalls, VPNs, data encryption, and other security measures to safeguard company data.

• Ensure compliance with global data privacy and security regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, hardware, and network issues across multiple global locations.

• Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups.

• Lead and mentor the IT team, promoting continuous learning and professional development.

• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative solutions to the organization.

Location:

• This is a full-time, on-site position in Jerusalem.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years in a managerial and hands-on technical role overseeing global teams.

• Deep technical experience with Linux, as well as managing network systems (LAN/WAN/VoIP).

• Extensive hands-on experience working with virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.), physical servers.

• Expertise in network infrastructure (switches, routers, communication cabinets) and security protocols, including firewalls and VPNs.

• Ability to actively resolve complex IT issues and provide high-level technical support to both internal teams and partners.

• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor global teams while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence.

• Fluent in English and Hebrew, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.) and storage solutions (SAN, NAS).

• Experience in data privacy and security regulations (GDPR, CCPA).

• Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones, particularly in Ukraine, the Philippines, and other international offices.

• Familiarity with enterprise software solutions and large-scale IT environments.

• Experience working with remote data centers (co-location) and “smart hands” requests.
