Role Description The Roads Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of road and highway projects. This full-time, on-site role includes preparing geometric designs, pavement layouts, drainage solutions, and technical drawings, as well as reviewing contractor plans and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Roads Engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, attend site meetings, and provide technical guidance during construction to address design issues and optimize project outcomes. The role also involves conducting site inspections, monitoring quality and safety, preparing reports and documentation, and supporting project scheduling and cost control activities.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Road Construction and Infrastructure planning and delivery.
• Candidates should possess solid Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering skills for the design and analysis of road-related structures.
• Candidates should possess Pavement Engineering skills, including pavement design, materials selection, and condition assessment.
• Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional experience in road or transportation engineering projects, preferably in an on-site capacity.
