This Is a senior technical role for an experienced hardware engineer who will take a
leading part in the design, development, and deployment of advanced hardware
components for medical products and verification systems. You will work with a
geographically dispersed, cross-functional team to bring a new patient
monitoring medical device to market, using cutting-edge technology and
influencing key technical decisions from concept through product release.
Beyond product development, this role offers the opportunity to shape the
evolution of our core technology, expand system capabilities, and contribute
directly to our mission of saving and sustaining lives.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a senior technical contributor within a
• cross-functional engineering team responsible for delivering new and
• existing medical devices.
· Lead and influence hardware
development activities in collaboration with system, software, mechanical,
production, and quality teams.
· Drive the design of
mixed-signal circuits from concept and architecture through verification,
validation, and product release.
· Make design trade-offs and
optimize bills of materials (BOMs) for performance, cost, availability,
manufacturability, and long-term reliability.
· Support and influence
transfer to production activities, ensuring robust and scalable implementation.
· Act as a technical focal
point for Production and Quality Assurance teams, supporting investigations,
improvements, and issue resolution.
· Lead board- and
system-level testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
· Create high-quality
technical specifications, reports, and engineering documentation that support
design decisions and regulated development processes.
· Ensure compliance with
applicable industry standards, internal procedures, and medical device quality
requirements.
Requirements:
·B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with more than 10
years of relevant hardware development experience.
· Deep experience in analog
signal processing.
· Solid understanding of
digital signal processing.
· Proven end-to-end
experience designing mixed-signal circuits for complex products.
· Strong working knowledge of
schematic capture software and simulation tools, such as SPICE and MATLAB.
· Extensive hands-on
experience with electrical laboratory equipment and hardware debugging.
· Ability to mentor,
collaborate, and influence across disciplines while remaining highly hands-on.
· Agile mindset with the
ability to drive progress in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment.
· Fluent English, with strong
written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across
global teams.
· Experience in a medical
equipment company is an advantage.
