Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commissioning Engineer role based in the Jerusalem District, Israel. The Commissioning Engineer will oversee installation, commissioning, and performance verification of solar tracking and power generation systems, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include planning and executing electrical tests, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, and documenting test procedures, results, and corrective actions. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, design engineers, and field technicians to resolve technical challenges, support system optimization, and provide training and guidance on operation and maintenance. The Commissioning Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of commissioning processes and support customer acceptance and handover activities. Qualifications

    • Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with practical experience applying electrical principles in power or renewable energy systems.

    • Hands-on expertise in Electrical Testing and Testing procedures for commissioning, validation, and performance assessment of electrical and control systems.

    • Experience working as Commissioning Engineers or in similar field engineering roles, managing end-to-end commissioning activities and site coordination.

    • Advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex electrical, control, and communication issues in field environments.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

    • Familiarity with solar PV plants, tracking systems, or industrial power systems, including relevant safety standards and regulations.

    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

    • Comfort working on-site in outdoor conditions, with readiness for occasional travel between project locations.

    • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting customers during commissioning and handover.

    • Proficiency with standard test equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers) and basic digital tools for reporting and documentation.
