The Military Aircraft Division is seeking a SIGINT / Radar Payload Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and deployment of advanced intelligence and mission payloads for next-generation UAV platforms.
This role involves working with cutting-edge airborne intelligence systems, including SIGINT (ELINT & COMINT), Electronic Warfare (EW), and advanced Radar (SAR/MPR) technologies. The position combines systems engineering, payload integration, subcontractor management, customer-facing activities, and the application of AI-driven capabilities for information fusion and mission effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and participate in the development and procurement processes of advanced mission payloads and electronic systems, working closely with subcontractors.
• Support systems related to SIGINT (ELINT and COMINT), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Radar systems (SAR/MPR).
• Prepare technical specifications, participate in design reviews, review and approve engineering documentation, conduct acceptance testing, and support development and qualification trials.
• Contribute to information fusion and intelligence processing capabilities, including the use of AI-based technologies.
• Lead and participate in the end-to-end integration of payloads and mission applications into UAV platforms.
• Define system requirements, interfaces, environmental constraints, integration architecture, and verification processes.
• Conduct integration testing, system validation activities, and flight trials.
• Provide engineering support for customer-facing activities, including technical presentations, proposals, marketing support, training materials, and engineering reports.
• Participate in troubleshooting activities, root-cause investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.
Requirements
• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related field – required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the development and/or integration of military intelligence payload systems – required.
• Experience with product development and integration processes, including technical specification writing and engineering documentation.
• Experience managing activities with subcontractors and customers.
• Experience leading the development and integration of avionics systems and mission payloads for airborne platforms – advantage.
• Familiarity with airborne intelligence payload systems, including payloads and pods.
• Strong background in RF systems and technologies.
• Knowledge of UAV platforms and operational concepts.
