התפקיד משלב הובלה טכנולוגית של סימולציות מכאניות מורכבות לצד מחקר ופיתוח של חומרים מתקדמים. העבודה מתבצעת בסביבה דינמית, מאתגרת ורב-תחומית המאפשרת להשפיע ישירות על תהליכי הייצור של רכבי העתיד.
תחומי האחריות:
• הובלה וניהול של סימולציות מכאניות סטאטיות (אימפליסיט) כגון תדרים, הרכבה והעמסת משקל (לינארי ולא לינארי).
• הובלת סימולציות דינאמיות (אקספליסיט) מורכבות, כולל אנליזות ריסוק (Crash), מבחני נפילה ופגיעות אימפקט.
• ביצוע אופטימיזציה טופולוגית וטופוגרפית של רכיבים מבניים.
• הובלת פיתוח טכנולוגיות עתידיות המשלבות פלסטיק וחומרים מרוכבים (סיבי זכוכית, גראפן ועוד) וטכנולוגיות ייצור מתקדמות.
• עבודה ממשקית צמודה מול יצרני הרכב המובילים בעולם משלב הקונספט ועד לייצור.

Requirements
• תואר מחקרי M.Sc או Ph.D מאוניברסיטה מוכרת בהנדסת מכונות, עם התמחות ומחקר בתחום אלמנטים סופיים (FEA) - חובה.
• ניסיון מוכח באנליזות אלמנטים סופיים (FEA) בדגש על סימולציות IMPACT (ניסיון מהתעשייה - יתרון משמעותי, ניסיון אקדמי עמוק - יתקבל).
• ניסיון עבודה עם תוכנת Altair Hyperworks / Hypermesh - יתרון משמעותי ביותר (או ניסיון ב-Abaqus).
• היכרות מעמיקה עם פלסטיק, פולימרים, סיבים וחומרים מרוכבים - יתרון משמעותי מאוד.
• רקע משולב בהנדסת מכונות והנדסת חומרים/כימיה - יתרון מושלם.
