In this role you will
Serve as the chief engineering authority for the UAV platform and system, with end‑to‑end responsibility for design, integration, performance, and reliability of all system components
Lead the development of the aerial vehicle across all disciplines, including system architecture, software and hardware infrastructure, propulsion and energy systems, communications and navigation, ensuring future scalability and modularity
Coordinate technical activities across all engineering disciplines
Lead system‑requirements analysis processes, derivation of subsystem requirements, evaluation of engineering alternatives, and long‑term technical decision‑making
Be responsible for meeting quality, schedule, and budget goals while ensuring a robust, reliable, and maintainable platform over time
Act as a strategic partner to program and division management in defining the technological roadmap, platform upgrades, and future capabilities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science- Mandatory (Aeronautical Engineering- Advantage)
Master’s degree- Advantage
Significant experience with UAV systems- Mandatory; familiarity with electronic warfare (EW) systems- Advantage
Managerial experience- Advantage
Strong system‑level understanding and ability to maintain a big‑picture view of complex platforms while addressing technical details
High multitasking ability and experience managing multiple technological interfaces
Proven ability to lead teams, motivate professionals, and work in a multidisciplinary environment
Experience in customer‑requirements analysis, internal‑requirements derivation, and leading system‑design processes
