Cost Estimation Engineer | Lod | IAI Aviation Group

We are looking for a Cost Estimation Engineer to join RL Technologies Production at IAI’s Aviation Group. The role focuses on pricing aerospace manufacturing parts based on technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.

The position includes:

• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements received from customers, engineering, and sales teams

• Analyzing mechanical drawings, including tolerances, GD&T, and quality requirements

• Selecting appropriate manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and finishing

• Building detailed cost estimates covering raw materials, machining and labor hours, machine and tooling costs, and subcontractor services

• Evaluating market pricing and adjusting estimates to remain competitive

• Collaborating with engineering, production, procurement, and sales teams

• Leading customer engagements throughout the quotation process

What we’re looking for:
