We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide day-to-day internal IT support and ensure employees have a smooth, secure, and reliable working environment. You’ll support users with everyday technical issues, manage workplace tools and access, maintain employee devices, and help protect the company from common security risks.
The position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility in working hours.
What you’ll be doing:
• Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and performance issues
• Administer Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365, and other internal company tools
• Manage user accounts, permissions, licenses, onboarding, and offboarding
• Set up and configure laptops and other equipment for employees
• Ensure operating systems, applications, and security tools are properly installed and kept up to date
• Support identity and device management through tools such as JumpCloud
• Configure and troubleshoot VPN access, including OpenVPN
• Investigate phishing attempts, suspicious emails, and other common security incidents
• Help employees follow IT security policies and best practices
• Maintain clear documentation for recurring issues, internal procedures, and IT assets
• Coordinate with vendors or external specialists when an issue requires additional support
We’re looking for someone with:
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, system administration, or a similar role
• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace
• Experience supporting Windows and/or macOS devices
• Good understanding of user access management, software licensing, device setup, and troubleshooting
