About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious AI Accounting Engineer with 1–3 years of accounting experience who is excited about the future of AI and finance.

This is a unique hybrid role that combines accounting, customer success, consulting, and AI innovation. You'll work directly with customers to deliver accounting services through the Viewz platform, train finance teams on AI-powered workflows, and help shape the future of accounting automation by collaborating with our Product and Engineering teams.

What You'll Do

Customer Accounting Services

Deliver day-to-day accounting and finance services using the Viewz platform.

Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and financial reporting.

Ensure accounting work is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with accounting best practices.

Build trusted relationships with finance teams, controllers, and CFOs by serving as a reliable finance partner.

Customer Onboarding & Training

Lead customer onboarding and implementation of the Viewz platform.

Train finance teams on how to effectively use Viewz and its AI capabilities.

Guide customers in adopting AI-powered accounting workflows and best practices.

Provide ongoing support, answer customer questions, and ensure long-term customer success.

AI Workflow Development

Help translate accounting processes into scalable AI-powered workflows.

Test, validate, and improve AI-generated accounting work.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive accounting tasks.

Document accounting processes, business rules, and edge cases to improve AI performance.

Provide continuous feedback to Product and Engineering teams to enhance the Viewz platform.

What We're Looking For

1–3 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or similar AI platforms is required. You should already be using AI to improve your productivity and be excited about applying it to accounting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with customers.

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have

CPA certification (or actively pursuing it).

Experience working directly with customers or clients.

Experience onboarding or training users on software platforms.

Startup, SaaS, fintech, or technology industry experience.
