The organization values creativity, innovation, and a deep commitment to child-centered education. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site מעצב (Designer) role based in West Jerusalem. The designer will create visual concepts and materials that support MACOW’s experiential learning programs for children, including digital and print assets, classroom materials, and branded content. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with educators and content teams to translate pedagogical goals into clear, engaging design, developing layouts and illustrations, and ensuring visual consistency across all products and platforms. The role involves participating in brainstorming sessions, adapting designs based on feedback, preparing files for production, and maintaining organized design assets. The designer is expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute creative ideas, and help improve the overall learner experience through thoughtful and user-centered design. Qualifications

    • Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, and color, with experience creating materials for children or educational products.

    • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar) and ability to prepare files for print and digital use.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, content creators, and other stakeholders, and to incorporate feedback constructively.

    • Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and a user-centered mindset focused on children’s learning experiences.

    • Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field; a portfolio showcasing design work is required.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in an on-site environment.

    • Comfort working in West Jerusalem and interest in child-centered education; prior experience in the education or edtech sector is an advantage.
