In this role, you will be a true partner in the processes that enable our scientists to succeed—from identifying advanced suppliers (locally and globally), through leading complex procurement processes, to managing strategic business relationships.
This is a dynamic and diverse position, involving collaboration with multiple stakeholders inside and outside the organization, exposure to advanced technologies and unique scientific equipment, and the opportunity for professional growth in a high-quality, stable, and purpose-driven environment.
What will you do in this role?
• Manage complex procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, obtaining quotes, and negotiating terms
• Work closely with researchers, laboratories, and professional units across the institute
• Evaluate advanced procurement solutions and tailor them to unique needs
• Manage engagements with suppliers (locally and internationally) and maintain long-term business relationships
• Monitor and optimize procurement processes while maintaining high standards of quality and service
Skills and abilities:
• Academic degree – mandatory (fields of Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration – an advantage)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement – mandatory
• Certified procurement courses – an advantage
• Experience and familiarity with legal procurement agreements
• Experience in scientific or technical procurement – an advantage
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong negotiation skills
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken
• Excellent interpersonal communication and high service orientation
