Responsibilities:
• Work with Data, Streaming, and AI platforms
• Provide professional and people management for a team of platform specialists
• Lead implementation, upgrade, and migration projects
• Provide architectural guidance to Data Engineering and Data Science teams
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, work with vendors and technology partners, and drive automation, monitoring, high availability, and advanced infrastructure initiatives
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and operating Data and/or Streaming platforms
• 3 years of experience leading a technology team and significant experience working with Linux and Kafka / Confluent
• Experience working with one or more of the following platforms: Hadoop, Cloudera, Databricks, Spark, or Azure Synapse
• Experience working with Ansible and one of the following domains: DataOps, MLOps, or AI Platforms
• Experience with NiFi, Terraform, Containers, Python / PySpark, or Confluent Cloud – advantage
