Job description:

We are seeking an experienced M365 Compliance & Microsoft Purview Specialist to support the activation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Microsoft Purview capabilities across the enterprise.

The role serves as the primary Microsoft Purview Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Digital Workforce COE, acting as a key bridge between business stakeholders, compliance functions, security teams, and IT delivery teams.

The specialist will be responsible for understanding business, regulatory, and governance requirements, identifying relevant Microsoft Purview capabilities, translating requirements into implementation plans, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of Purview solutions.

The role requires close collaboration with Legal, Privacy, Cyber Security, Information Security, Compliance, Risk, Records Management, M365 Operations, Infrastructure, Architecture, and other ITOA teams to drive information protection, governance, and compliance initiatives.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Tel Aviv, with two days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary Microsoft Purview SME, maintaining expertise across Microsoft Purview capabilities and Microsoft roadmap developments.

• Partner with business, Legal, Privacy, Security, Compliance, and Risk stakeholders to understand governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

• Analyze business needs and identify relevant Microsoft Purview capabilities to address information protection and compliance requirements.

• Translate business requirements into functional and operational requirements for implementation teams.

• Support the planning, prioritization, implementation, testing, and rollout of Purview-related initiatives.

• Collaborate with Security Operations, M365 Operations, Infrastructure, Architecture, and IT teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

• Support initiatives related to Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Sensitivity Labels, Retention Policies, Records Management, eDiscovery, Audit, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, and Information Protection.

• Assist in defining and maintaining approved configurations, processes, standards, and operating procedures.

• Support governance forums, working groups, and stakeholder alignment activities.

• Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and issues, and support deployment readiness activities.

• Collaborate with Digital Workforce, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams on Microsoft Copilot and AI governance initiatives, including assessing readiness, risks, and operational impacts.

Profile description:

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 Compliance and/or Microsoft Purview.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Information Protection, DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Retention, and eDiscovery.

• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and information protection concepts.

• Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into technology solutions.

• Experience working with Security, IT, Compliance, and Governance teams.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI Governance, or Microsoft 365 Enterprise environments – an advantage.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications – an advantage.
