Original listing · kept for referenceWe're looking for a bookkeeper to join Team8's finance team for a 6-month engagement. It's a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in a fast-moving venture capital environment, working closely with our Head Bookkeeper and the broader finance team. What you'll do • Record day-to-day transactions and manage the posting process • Prepare and manage monthly payments • Review and record supplier invoices • Bring the books to trial balance stage • Perform periodic reconciliations (bank, credit cards, etc.) • Prepare materials for the annual external audit • Manage corporate credit cards - monitor transactions, verify receipts, allocate and record expenses • Handle employee expense reimbursements, including travel reports • Support ongoing finance activities and ad-hoc project
Requirements: What we're looking for • Level 1-2 bookkeeping diploma • 1-2+ years of experience in bookkeeping / AP-AR • Familiarity with NetSuite - a strong advantage • Solid Excel skills • Good English (written and spoken) • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team • Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong work ethic Why Team8?
