We are looking for

For Elbit site in Bar-Lev Industrial Zone or Haifa we are looking for an Aeronautical Technical Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role in the aerospace engineering domain, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving the development and structural enhancement of airborne platforms. The position combines both technical depth and project leadership within a leading defense organization that values innovation, technological excellence, and meaningful contribution

In this role you will

Design and develop airborne structures

Lead structural upgrade programs for airborne platforms

Lead a team of engineers and additional support functions in a matrix environment

Be responsible for the engineering deliverables of the program from initiation through development, verification, prototype, and serial production

Act as the technical counterpart and right hand of the Program Manager within the IPT team, working across multiple internal and external stakeholders

Manage the engineering plan including preparation and control of the GANTT

Ensure technical compliance with defined program requirements

Hold joint responsibility for meeting quality, schedule, and cost targets

Prepare and manage engineering design reviews

Coordinate between multiple engineering disciplines and take part in key decision points

Requirements

B.Sc. in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering - Mandatory

M.Sc. - Advantage

At least 5 years of experience in structural design and/or aircraft modification design

Experience in technical leadership for aerospace projects - Advantage

Ability to learn and master new technical domains

Proficiency in writing and managing technical specifications and development plans

Strong ability to influence without authority and to lead cross-functional collaboration

Experience in managing subcontractors and consultants in various engineering fields - Advantage

Familiarity with civil and military aviation standards - Advantage
