Original listing · kept for reference

A highly innovative Semiconductor and deep-tech enterprise backed by substantial capital from premier venture funds and strategic investors.

The company designs and manufactures proprietary, patent-protected Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) sensing technologies embedded within advanced chips and electro-optical systems, enabling high-fidelity visibility under extreme environmental and low-light conditions.

Scaling at a tight-knit workforce of several dozen professionals, the company’s R&D hub is located in a central Tel Aviv tech hub (highly accessible, situated directly on the train transit line), operating under a flexible hybrid model.

Position Overview-

• Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal Design Engineer reporting directly to the Analog Design Team Lead, joining an elite core team of a few engineering specialists.

• Leading end-to-end R&D lifecycles of highly complex analog blocks tailored for next-generation SWIR image sensors, driving projects from architectural exploration and feasibility studies through to schematic design, layout guidance, and tape-out.

• Running extensive multi-corner simulations and verification matrices to achieve optimal performance metrics over challenging operating environments.

• Collaborating cross-functionally within a deeply multidisciplinary ecosystem alongside Digital, Firmware, Algorithms, Hardware, Device, and Production teams, concluding with hands-on validation and characterization in the hardware laboratory.

• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Analog Design, Mixed-Signal ASIC, SWIR Sensors, Electro-Optics, Defense Tech, Cadence Virtuoso, Data Converters (ADC/DAC), Power Management (PMU), Low-Noise/Low-Power Optimization, and Post-Silicon Lab Validation.

Requirements-

• Academic Background: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a leading academic institution – Mandatory (M.Sc. or Ph.D. specialized in Electronic/Microelectronic Design – a significant advantage).

• Experience Benchmarks: Strong, senior-level hands-on experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal design (with a reduced industry experience requirement for candidates holding advanced degrees like an M.Sc. or Ph.D.) – Mandatory

• Technical Block Mastery: Deep, production-proven experience designing a variety of the following functional blocks – Mandatory:

• Data Converters (ADC, DAC)

• Power Management Units (PMU: DC-DC, LDO Regulators, POR, Bandgap, etc.)

• Analog Active & Passive Filters

• High-Speed SerDes Architectures

• Switched-Capacitor Circuits

• Specialized Low-Power & Low-Noise Architectures

• Tooling: Proficient, hands-on mastery working within the Cadence tool suite ecosystem – Mandatory

• Professional Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams; fluent in written and verbal English – Mandatory
