The HR Operations Specialist - Israel is responsible for delivering compliant, high-quality HR operational services for employees and supervisors across the Eastern Mediterranean Business Unit (EMED) in Israel, within Chevron’s global HR operating model. The role serves as the primary local point of contact for routine HR inquiries, supports the implementation of HR programs and processes, and coordinates with global HR teams, such as Global Business Services (GBS) and Centers of Excellence (CoEs), to ensure efficient service delivery and positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Delivery – Israel (Approx. 50%)
• Serve as the primary local HR point of contact for employees, supervisors and HR stakeholders on operational matters
• Provide first-line guidance on HR policies, processes, programs, and employee matters
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries and coordinate timely resolution
• Support onboarding, internal movements, organizational changes, mobility-related activities, leave inquiries, and offboarding where processes are not supported by GBS
• Partner with Global Business Services and COEs, such as Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition and Total Reward
• Support implementation of HR policies, programs, initiatives, and employee communications
HR Operations & Program Coordination (Approx. 25%)
• Coordinate local execution of HR programs, including learning and development, employee engagement, and recognition initiatives
• Support recurring HR processes in partnership with HR Business Partners and global HR teams
• Coordinate communications, logistics, documentation, and follow-up activities
Reporting, Projects & Continuous Improvement (Approx. 25%)
• Maintain local HR records, reports, trackers, dashboards, and employee data
• Prepare workforce reports, presentations, metrics, and insights
• Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Track milestones, action items, and implementation progress
• Identify opportunities to improve local HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency
• Support migration of HR operational activities to GBS where appropriate
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 2–3 years of experience in HR, Operations, Administration, Employee Services, or a similar coordination role
• Strong customer-service orientation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English
• Ability to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability and willingness to leverage AI and digital tools to improve productivity and HR service delivery
• Experience with Workday is an advantage
