    Engineering Operations Manager

    Overview

    Dynamic Yield by Mastercard is seeking a strategic Engineering Operations Manager to act as a true change agent, leading high-impact initiatives that shape and elevate how Engineering operates at scale.

    This role requires exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills, along with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in balancing business needs and enterprise priorities, effectively translating them into pragmatic and high-impact Engineering execution. This is an individual contributor position.

    This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, influence how Engineering operates, and deliver meaningful, measurable impact. The role reports to the VP of Engineering Operations.

    Role

    Drive Strategic Engineering Initiatives

    • Lead cross-functional Engineering initiatives end-to-end, from definition through execution and transition to business-as-usual (BAU)

    • Serve as a project management expert, mentoring teams on best practices, methodologies, and effective execution

    • Provide clear visibility into strategic initiatives through structured updates, highlighting progress, risks, and key dependencies

    • Partner with stakeholders to define milestones, success metrics, and ensure strong execution alignment

    Partner with Mastercard & Influence Execution

    • Act as a primary interface to Mastercard stakeholders, translating enterprise priorities into pragmatic and high-impact Engineering execution

    • Lead Mastercard-driven initiatives impacting Engineering (e.g., system migrations, MDN, enterprise programs)

    • Ensure effective alignment with Mastercard standards and policies while maintaining a strong focus on business outcomes

    • Represent Engineering within Mastercard systems, including ownership of technical asset catalog accuracy

    • Build and leverage strong stakeholder relationships to enable collaboration, alignment, and informed decision-making

    Enable Engineering Effectiveness & Scale

    • Drive Engineering enablement and organizational effectiveness through targeted programs and initiatives

    • Design and deliver onboarding, learning, and innovation programs (e.g., bootcamps, immersion sessions, hackathons)

    • Leverage Mastercard capabilities and resources to strengthen Engineering practices, including AI adoption

    • Foster cross-team collaboration and a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

    Support Governance & Operational Excellence

    • Ensure smooth operation of Engineering processes within Mastercard frameworks while minimizing delivery friction

    • Support sourcing and procurement processes in partnership with Engineering stakeholders

    • Oversee risk management activities, including maintaining the risk registry (e.g., Archer)

    • Facilitate adoption of approved tools and effectively navigate approval processes for new solutions

    All About You

    • Proven (at least 5 years) experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a technology or engineering environment

    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups

    • Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, problem-solving approach to drive outcomes

    • Collaborative team player with strong ability to build alignment across functions and leadership levels

    • Innovative, analytical, and results-oriented, with a strong focus on continuous improvement

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
