Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Tel Aviv District, Israel, for a Certified Public Accountant with experience in controllership and preparation of financial statements under IFRS. The role includes preparing, reviewing, and analyzing periodic and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for public companies, as well as managing accounting records and overseeing day-to-day financial reporting processes. The professional in this role will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and contribute to improving financial controls and procedures. Additional responsibilities may include financial analysis for business development and M&A activities, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
Qualifications
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification and proven experience in financial controllership and IFRS financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, corporate accounting, and financial reporting practices.
• Experienced controller with proven ability to work with auditors, including preparing full set of financiaal statements, audit files and supporting audit processes.
• Proficiency with Excel and common accounting/ERP systems; ability to analyze large data sets and produce clear reports.
• Ability to interpret financial results, perform variance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Hebrew fluency is an advantage for local stakeholders.
• Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in business development or M&A activities is an advantage.
• Relevant academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
