Original listing · kept for referenceAlgorithm Engineer | Shape the Future of Indoor MobilityThe Mission: GPS Ends Where We Begin
Have you ever wondered why we can navigate across continents with a click, but lose our way the moment we step inside a mall, hospital, or transit hub? At Oriient, we’ve solved that.
We are the pioneers of the world’s most advanced, hardware-free Indoor GPS. Using Earth’s magnetic field and cutting-edge AI, we provide hyper-accurate positioning without the need for expensive beacons or WiFi. We are a VC-backed team in a hyper-growth phase, and we’re looking for a brilliant Algorithm Engineer to help us scale this "impossible" tech globally.
The Impact You’ll Make
As a core member of our elite Algorithm Team, you won’t just be tweaking code—you’ll be architecting the engine of indoor navigation.
Innovate at the Core: Research, design, and deploy classical and ML-based localization modules that function in complex, real-world environments.
Full-Cycle Ownership: Move seamlessly from whiteboard theory and academic papers to prototyping, validation, and high-scale production.
Solve the "Unsolvable": Use Earth’s magnetism, sensor fusion, and signal processing to overcome the physical limitations of indoor environments.
Build the Future: Develop the pipelines and infrastructure that allow us to evaluate new features against massive, real-world datasets.
Who You Are
You are a mathematical tinkerer who loves seeing your equations come to life in a physical product. You thrive in small, high-powered teams where your individual contribution is visible and vital.
Your Toolkit:
Academic Foundation: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a top-tier university (GPA 85+). An M.Sc. is a big plus.
Real-World Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in algorithm design, specifically in Signal Processing, Kalman/Particle Filters, or Deep Learning.
Mathematical Fluency: You can digest an academic paper and translate its theory into a working simulation.
Coding Craft: You are highly proficient in Python and MATLAB. If you have a background in cloud platforms or software engineering, you’ll feel right at home.
Data-Driven Mindset: You enjoy digging into large datasets to find the "why" behind anomalies and edge cases.
Why Oriient?
The Tech Stack: Work with a unique blend of geomagnetic positioning, IMU sensor fusion, and AI.
The Scale: Our tech is being deployed across retail giants, smart buildings, and massive healthcare campuses.
The Culture: We are a "flat" R&D group. No red tape—just top-notch engineers solving hard problems and moving fast.
The Growth: We are in a hyper-growth stage; your career trajectory here is limited only by your ambition.
Ready to help the world find its way? Let’s talk.
