Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Acre. We are looking for an inquisitive, highly motivated engineer with a passion for learning and development, who thrives in a challenging, diverse, and dynamic technological environment. You will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems, from concept through detailed design and validation. Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models, performing technical calculations, managing NPI processes, and facilitating the transition from engineering to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets while supporting ongoing product improvements and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee new product implementation from requirements definition to serial production.
• Develop and maintain production documentation, including technical files, assembly instructions, and
Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Resolve engineering issues and failures throughout the manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Lead Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes and update technical documentation accordingly.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including production, procurement, quality assurance, etc.
• Support for production processes and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering – Required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, NPI, engineering development, and transition to production – Preferred.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent) – Required.
• Strong ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings and standards.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel).
• Technical English – Required.
• Familiarity with Priority ERP system – Advantage.
