Role Description Robotics engineer will be responsible for development of robotics applications in the company’s core products.
The Robotics Engineer possesses a broad technical knowledge of:
- Robotics theory: kinematics and dynamics
- Motion control, servo systems and application development.
- Complete company products portfolio
- Operating robotics systems.
- Part time position - 50%
- The offices are located in Petach Tikva
Responsibilities
- Robot systems buildup & sustain: operating all robots with the company’s IDE.
- Assist in new features implementation.
- Participate in the robotics framework: development of the motion layer for the Company’s robotics infrastructure.
- Analyze requests from the sales/support teams in the field of motion-control product solutions:
• HW and SW setup
• Bugs reproduction
• Problems solving
• Provide input and feedback to the development teams
- Troubleshoot technical issues: setup, SW, connections and components integration.
- New features:
• Characterizing new features to be implemented by the software teams
• Responsibility for training the sales and support teams.
- Integration of new devices with the company’s motion controller.
Qualifications
• M.Sc. student in engineering (at least 2 years remaining)
• B.Sc. in mechatronics or mechanical engineering
• Background or experience in automation/servo systems/ robotics/ control systems - Advantage
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Programming skills.
