We are seeking a talented Junior Cyber Security Architect to join our Information Security team, specializing in IT infrastructure and cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
The role includes responsibility for designing, implementing, and improving security solutions across cloud and enterprise infrastructures, while working closely with Engineering, IT, and SecOps teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement security solutions in Azure environments, including Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and related tools.
• Perform risk assessments, gap analysis, and provide recommendations for improving security across cloud and on-premise infrastructures.
• Define and enforce security policies, hardening procedures, access control, and security governance.
• Write architecture documents, security procedures, and technical reports.
• Provide hands-on support with security tools when required, assisting SecOps teams as needed.
Requirements:
• Active security clearance (Level 3 or higher) – significant advantage.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an IT / SecOps professional – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with security tools (not the main focus of the role, but required when needed).
Technical Skills:
• Experience with cloud security services such as Azure Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Key Vault, IAM.
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and system hardening practices.
• Experience with Active Directory administration – mandatory.
• Familiarity with virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
• Experience in securing Windows and Linux environments – advantage.
• Knowledge in networking and communication protocols, including network management and maintenance – advantage.
Additional Advantages:
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-500, SC-200, or similar).
• Experience in writing technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Experience in writing policies, standards, and operational procedures.
