The role includes:
• Supporting the design process of diverse products while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability
• Developing structural concepts and evaluating their feasibility under mechanical load conditions
• Building finite element models and performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Conducting detailed strength calculations and preparing structural analysis and qualification reports
• Planning and supporting structural validation tests and experiments
• Providing engineering support throughout the manufacturing process
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Aerospace Engineering – mandatory
• High level of English proficiency (written and verbal) – mandatory
• Experience in performing structural and stress analyses – an advantage
• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering specializing in structures and strength – an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in structural statics, solid mechanics, elasticity theory, and vibration theory – an advantage
• Knowledge of NASTRAN/PATRAN software – an advantage

About the Department:
The Mechanical Engineering Directorate at ELTA Systems is responsible for the design and development of advanced military systems operating under challenging environmental conditions across a variety of defense platforms.
