      Electronics Practical Engineer / Technician – Low-Voltage Systems, R&D and Service Ravona LTD • Full-time • Modi’in-Maccabim-Reut, Center District, Israel • On-site About Ravona Ravona LTD is an Israeli engineering and manufacturing company specializing in advanced equipment for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, chemical, and cosmetics industries.

About the Role We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Electronics Practical Engineer or Electronics Technician to work on Ravona’s low-voltage electronic systems and compact devices.

      The position combines electronics, delicate mechanical assembly, basic pneumatics and programming, product testing, R&D support, customer service, FAT execution, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

      The successful candidate will support products throughout their lifecycle—from prototype development and production through customer installation and after-sales service. Key Responsibilities • Assemble, wire, configure, test, and repair low-voltage electronic devices and control systems.

      • Perform delicate mechanical assemblies involving enclosures, sensors, connectors, tubing, fittings, pneumatic components, and precision parts.

      • Work with DC power supplies, electronic boards, sensors, transmitters, solenoid valves, pumps, motors, relays, communication components, and embedded computers.

      • Perform soldering, crimping, cable preparation, connector assembly, and electrical-panel wiring.

      • Read and work according to electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, Bills of Materials, and assembly instructions.

      • Use measurement and diagnostic equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators, and electrical test equipment.

      • Support R&D activities, including prototype assembly, component selection, technical trials, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.

      • Configure device software, operating parameters, communication settings, firmware, and basic user interfaces.

      • Perform basic programming or software modifications when required.

      • Execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) according to approved protocols.

      • Accurately document test results, deviations, repairs, and corrective actions.

      • Prepare devices for shipment and verify that all accessories, documentation, and spare parts are included.

      • Install, commission, and test devices at customer sites in Israel and internationally.

      • Provide product demonstrations and basic operational and maintenance training to customers.

      • Respond to service requests and provide remote and on-site troubleshooting.

      • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration support, component replacement, repairs, and product upgrades.

      • Maintain service records, test reports, equipment histories, and technical documentation.

      • Work closely with R&D, engineering, automation, production, quality, validation, and project-management teams. Requirements • Electronics Practical Engineer, Electronics Technician, Electrical Practical Engineer, or equivalent technical qualification.

      • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with electronic devices, low-voltage systems, control systems, laboratory equipment, or similar products.

      • Strong practical skills in wiring, soldering, crimping, cable preparation, and electronic assembly.

      • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.

      • Experience diagnosing faults in electronic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.

      • Experience using electronic measurement and diagnostic equipment.

      • Mechanical understanding and the ability to perform delicate mechanical assemblies.

      • Basic understanding of pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, tubing, and fittings.

      • Basic computer, networking, software-configuration, or programming knowledge.

      • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

      • Good spoken and written English — mandatory.

      • Good spoken and written Hebrew.

      • Customer-oriented attitude and professional communication skills.

      • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for service activities from initial diagnosis through completion.

      • Ability to prepare accurate test reports and service documentation.

      • Willingness to travel to customer sites in Israel and internationally when required. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, laboratory, or cleanroom equipment.

      • Experience with glove-integrity testers, pressure-testing systems, sensors, calibration equipment, or compact automated devices.

      • Familiarity with Raspberry Pi, industrial computers, Linux, embedded systems, or microcontrollers.

      • Basic programming knowledge in Python, C, C++, PLC programming, or a similar environment.

      • Experience with industrial communication protocols, Ethernet, serial communication, or remote connectivity.

      • Experience performing FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, calibration, or customer training.

      • Familiarity with GMP environments, validation documentation, IQ/OQ activities, or regulated equipment.
