In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring database availability, performance, security, and reliability while supporting development teams and business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities • Administer, maintain, and monitor PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases. • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production database environments. • Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management. • Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks. • Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. • Optimize database structures, queries, indexes, and stored procedures. • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and production issues. • Manage database security, user permissions, and access control. • Automate routine database administration tasks using scripts and tools.
