About The Position
We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Finance team for a 8-month maternity leave cover. This is an excellent opportunity to take a key role in a dynamic, fast-growing global organization and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of accounting and financial activities.
Responsibilities
• Financial Closing: Involvement in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes according to US GAAP.
• Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of the annual consolidated financial statements.
• Subsidiary Management: Oversee the financial management of all subsidiaries.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of monthly actual vs. budget reports.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in monthly, yearly, and tax return preparation, as well as implementing the global tax plan.
• Bookkeeping: Manage bookkeeping, vendors, bank accounts, and wire transfers.
• Payroll: Oversee and manage full-cycle payroll to ensure compliance with local laws and tax regulations across multiple locations.
• Process Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing new processes and system improvements to enhance departmental workflows.
Requirements
• CPA and internship in one of the big 4 – A must
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with startups OR high-tech companies
• Familiarity with Priority ERP system.
• Superior Excel skills – A must
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with a can-do attitude.
• Highly motivated and committed.
