Key Responsibilities
• Own and support assigned product lines throughout their lifecycle.
• Lead mechanical design changes to improve product quality, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability.
• Drive cost-reduction (VAVE) initiatives through design and process optimization.
• Investigate field and production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and service teams, including hands-on troubleshooting.
• Manage engineering changes with suppliers and lead FAI activities for new parts and tools.
Requirements
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc. advantage).
• 7+ years of experience with multidisciplinary products in mass-production environments.
• 4+ years of hands-on mechanical design or product development experience.
• Experience with electromechanical systems.
• Strong background working with cross-functional teams across mechanics, electronics, and software.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing technologies, including plastic injection molding, sheet metal, extrusion, casting, machining, and assembly processes.
• Experience in Sustaining Engineering / Current Product Engineering (CPE).
