ADM Israel, the leading company in its sector in Israel, is seeking outstanding candidates to join its local trading desk. The successful candidate will work closely with ADM’s global trading teams, helping to manage and develop the Israeli market. This position offers significant career growth opportunities within ADM, exposure to large trading volumes, diverse products and customer segments, and direct involvement in international commodity markets. The role combines global market analysis, risk management, commodity exchange dynamics, macroeconomic and geopolitical developments, and the execution of physical commodity trading through vessels, containers, and international import/export operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the management of trading activities across multiple commodity groups.
• Analyze local market dynamics, supply and demand trends, pricing opportunities, competitive positioning, and risk exposure.
• Work closely with ADM’s global trading desks to monitor international market developments and implement trading strategies.
• Collaborate with international suppliers on product sourcing, pricing, and procurement activities.
• Develop and strengthen commercial relationships with key customers and strategic partners in the local market.
• Partner with sales and procurement teams on transaction pricing, execution, and performance monitoring.
• Foster and expand collaboration across ADM’s various business units and operational sectors.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, supported by an excellent academic record.
• Prior experience in commodity trading, hedge funds, investment banking, food manufacturing, agriculture, or related industries is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience working with commercial contracts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders, including ADM teams worldwide and global suppliers.
• High level of accountability, ability to perform under pressure, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required; additional languages are an advantage.
