An exciting opportunity to join The Phoenix Group's Finance Department in a key role responsible for leading the company's budgeting, financial planning, and budget control processes across significant organizational budgets. The position involves driving cross-functional initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulatory, governance, and audit requirements.

What you’ll do?

• Lead the company's annual budgeting process from planning through execution.

• Manage and monitor budget performance on an ongoing basis, including variance analysis and providing actionable business insights.

• Develop and implement budgeting frameworks, methodologies, models, and supporting processes.

• Work extensively with SAP for budget monitoring, reporting, and financial analysis.

• Prepare management reports, executive presentations, and materials for senior leadership.

• Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization, including business units, Finance, and Internal Audit.

• Drive continuous alignment of budgeting processes with audit, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

What are we looking for?

• At least 7 years of experience managing large-scale budgets within a large organization.

• Proven hands-on experience with SAP – mandatory.

• Experience establishing budgeting frameworks, methodologies, and financial planning processes.

• Strong understanding of financial control, reporting, audit, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical skills with strong systems thinking.

• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead organization-wide initiatives.

• Experience managing technology and payroll budgets – an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Accounting from a leading university.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – an advantage.
