Senior Java Developer

GTH Software, SkillOnNet's R&D center, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our backend department and play a pivotal role in building our backend platform.

What will your days with us look like?

The Role

• Involvement in product meetings, planning meetings, and giving estimates for projects.

• Write a high-level design for features.

• Write and design the system's infrastructure.

• Help improve the CI/CD process and support the DevOps team's needs.

• Interviewing new candidates.

• Ensure designs comply with specifications.

• Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.

• Integrating with 3rd party applications and products.

• Participate in hard technical problems & problem-solving - at the architecture/ code/ product level.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of strong technical experience in Java.

• Proven experience in design patterns and system development from scratch.

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read and code-review complex code written by others.

• Experience with large-scale web applications and multithreaded environments.

• Experience working with a DB and writing complicated queries.

• Experience with Spring Framework & Spring Boot.

• Experience with Apache Kafka – advantage

• Experience with Elastic – advantage
