In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex development processes within a multi-disciplinary environment (integrating Hardware, Software, and Materials). The ideal candidate is a proven leader of leaders, capable of bridging the gap between product vision, customer requirements, and high-level engineering execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & People Management: Direct people management (meanly system engineers) and management of managers. Lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams in a challenging technological landscape.
• End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management: Full accountability for the development cycle—from initial product definition and conceptualization through detailed planning and execution, to final release and customer delivery.
• Multi-disciplinary Program Leadership: Synchronize and lead multiple product lines simultaneously, ensuring seamless integration between hardware, software, and material sciences.
• Strategic Product Vision: Partner in shaping the product vision and building the future roadmap in close collaboration with the Product Management department.
• Stakeholder & Customer Interface: Work directly with strategic customers and key stakeholders to translate market needs into actionable, high-end engineering solutions.
Requirements:
• Senior Leadership Experience: Extensive experience in R&D or Program Management, including a proven track record of managing managers and leading large-scale development operations.
• Multi-disciplinary Technical Background: Proven experience managing development processes that integrate Hardware, Software, and Materials – Mandatory.
• Hardware Product Development: A solid background in managing the development of complex hardware products from concept to mass production (NPI).
• Product & Business Acumen: Experience in customer-facing roles and working closely with Product teams to define and execute a forward-looking product vision and meeting cost targets.
• Education: B.Sc. in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Systems) or a related technological field. An MBA or M.Sc. in Engineering is a significant advantage.
