A defense company in central Israel is looking for a Configuration Management Engineer to join its engineering information management team.
The role includes working with PLM systems, managing engineering data, supporting design processes, and ensuring proper control of product information, documents, items, and assemblies.
Responsibilities include:
Working with an engineering information management system – PLM
Cataloging items and documents
Managing product trees, product files, documents, items, and assemblies
Controlling and approving engineering design processes
Producing computerized reports and KPIs
Leading engineering change control boards
Supporting users in the PLM system
Requirements:
Degree in Industrial Engineering & Management or a similar academic degree – mandatory
Electronics Practical Engineer background may also be considered
At least 3 years of experience in configuration management or engineering information management – mandatory
Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Visio, Excel, and Word – mandatory
Experience working with PLM systems – advantage
Experience in an electronics company – advantage
Ability to work in a matrix environment and make decisions
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Hebrew and English at a good level, including proven ability to write, read, and speak
