We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Software Architect to lead the modernization of our core technology platform. This role involves analyzing existing systems, designing a scalable and cost-efficient target architecture, and building a clear roadmap to get there.

As an architect, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with product, engineering, and business teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient systems. You’ll take responsibility over segments of our product, and make sure they meet the highest architectural standards and best practices, mentoring other engineers along the way.

What You Will Do:

• Architectural Strategy Evaluate current systems and infrastructure; define scalable, secure, and maintainable target architectures.

• Roadmap & Execution Build migration plans from legacy to target state, including risk analysis, dependencies, and phased delivery.

• Dual Use Architecture Design architecture to support both SaaS and on-prem customers, reducing version differences and optimizing performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with product and engineering leadership to define the technical roadmap and delivery strategy.

• Operational Excellence & Leadership

• Mentor developers on system design, scalability, and performance. Stay hands-on through POCs, technology evaluations, code reviews, and monitoring production health.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience developing scalable backend code in high level languages, with preference for Go.

• Experience working with cloud and on-prem environments.

• Experience owning feature development from end-to-end, taking it from idea to production.

• Experience designing scalable, monitorable complex systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning cutting-edge technologies.

• Ability to self-educate, working independently with multiple stakeholders.

• High motivation and a team-oriented mentality.
