About the Company

FUSE is building the next generation of autonomous defense technology: intelligent robotic systems and multi-domain platforms that redefine how forces operate, sense, decide, and act. Our systems work alongside human operators for surveillance, strike, and mission support. At FUSE, we bring together industry pioneers into one agile organization under Elbit Systems, combining the speed, sense of ownership, and innovation culture of a startup with the manufacturing power and operational strength of a global defense leader. Our teams own the full stack end-to-end, from mechanical design, hardware, and embedded systems to robotics, autonomy, AI, and real-time multi-platform decision-making. Here, technology goes from concept to operational deployment. Fast.

Your work doesn't sit in a backlog. It takes off.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Configuration Manager to own the engineering baseline of our autonomous systems. You'll be the central authority on product configuration across hardware, software, mechanics, and electronics – ensuring every change is controlled, documented, and traceable. This role is critical to maintaining coherence in complex multi-disciplinary platforms operating in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enforce cross-departmental R&D workflows and requirement management processes to ensure organizational coherence.

• Drive process standardization across integrated hardware, software, and systems engineering teams.

• Lead formal engineering change processes (ECR/ECN/ECO) and run Configuration Control Board (CCB) sessions.

• Build and maintain product BOMs across all disciplines and control the release of approved configurations to production.

• Define and manage configuration baselines (functional, design, product) throughout the development lifecycle.

• Synchronize software/firmware versions with hardware releases and ensure correct pairing across system variants.

• Serve as a single source of truth for product configuration status and communicate changes across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.

• Conduct formal configuration audits (FCA/PCA) and ensure compliance with AS9100 and military standards.

• Manage PLM/PDM systems as the central repository for drawings, BOMs, documentation, and change history.

• Bridge gaps between 'as designed' and 'as-built' configurations and maintain traceability for 7-10 year product lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field).

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in configuration management or engineering data management.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.

• Strong working knowledge of PLM/PDM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, or similar).

• Proven experience with ALM tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps) for complex software version synchronization – A MUST.

• Deep understanding of formal engineering change processes (ECR/ECO/CCB methodology).

• Ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams (hardware, software, mechanical, quality, manufacturing).

• Close attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying configuration inconsistencies.

• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.

• Experience with AS9100 or military configuration management standards (MIL-STD/MIL-HDBK).

• Experience in automating CM workflows and CI/CD pipelines – a strong advantage.
