Original listing · kept for referenceAbout Huskeys
Huskeys is reimagining web application protection for the modern era. As applications become
increasingly dynamic, multi-cloud, and AI-driven, traditional WAFs struggle to keep up.
We built the first Agentic Network Security Control Plane - an AI-powered mitigation layer that
works with any existing WAF. Our platform helps security teams unify protection, measure
effectiveness, reduce manual overhead, and create context-aware policies that block threats
without disrupting business flows. At Huskeys, we believe context is the new attack surface, and
that security should empower the business - not slow it down.
About the Role
We are looking for a stellar, highly autonomous Senior Product Designer to own the product
experience end-to-end. In this role, you will shape the future of our platform, turning complex
cybersecurity workflows into elegant, intuitive, and delightful user experiences.
There is no hand-holding here, and no heavy corporate processes. We need sharp thinking,
beautiful craft, a strong product/business mindset, and real impact. You should think like a
product strategist but execute with the precision of a visual artist.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
• End-to-End Design Ownership: Lead the entire design lifecycle from problem framing, discovery, user research, and wireframing through to high-fidelity UI designs and pixel-perfect delivery.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner daily with Product Managers and R&D Engineers to ship features not just hand off mocks. You will ensure implementation matches design specs flawlessly.
• Simplify the Complex: Translate deeply technical, data-heavy security workflows and analytical data into clear, opinionated, and cohesive user experiences.
• Design System Governance: Maintain, scale, and evolve our cross-platform Design System as the product grows, ensuring absolute consistency, responsiveness, and premium visual quality.
• Customer-Centric Iteration: Talk directly to customers, watch them use the product, and feed what you learn straight back into the design loop to maximize adoption and engagement.
Day-to-Day Reality
• Lean and Builder-Focused: Most of your week will be spent actively designing in
• Figma, mapping out UX flows, and collaborating hands-on with the team on product
• logic.
• High Impact & Autonomy: You will have immense influence over the product’s look,
• feel, and functionality. You are expected to make the call, own ambiguity, and take pride
• in shipping fast.
• Fast-Paced Startup Environment: You will balance working on long-term strategic core features while addressing immediate design needs, active customer requests, or usability bugs.
Who You Are (The Ideal Candidate)
Beyond pixels and components, we are looking for a pragmatic problem solver and an excellent communicator.
You’ll thrive here if:
• You have a strong business and product mindset you design to solve real user problems and achieve business goals, not just to make things look "pretty"
• You are proactive and independent ,you find the problem before it's handed to you.
• You possess an obsessive eye for detail ,you care deeply about the 1px details as well as the end-to-end story.
• You are comfortable owning ambiguity, making high-level technical design choices, and operating in a fast-evolving seed-stage startup.
Must-Haves
• 8+ years of product design experience at a global B2B SaaS company.
• Outstanding Portfolio: A strong portfolio that shows a wide range of work, exceptional visual craft, deep UX thinking, and clear problem-solving methodologies.
• Fast-Paced Track Record: Proven experience working in fast-moving startup environments (Seed / Series A or B).
Strong Plus (Nice to Have)
• Proven track record of product design and UX in cybersecurity companies.
• Experience designing for technical / data-heavy products (analytics, observability, security ops, dashboards).
• Prior experience working at an early-stage startup with Fewer than 50 people.
• Hands-on skills in micro-interactions, motion design, and advanced prototyping.
